Our Story
An Independent Italian family run business, Nutters has been thriving for over 40 years and is proud to provide a creative, personalised service through a team of highly skilled and creative professionals.
The founders, brother and sister Lina and Toni Copporlaro arrived in Cambridge from Italy and after discovering a passion for hair they decided to setup their first salons nearly 40 years ago.
They were both trained in Italy. Following in their footsteps, Julie Caporaso and Nick Caporaso, Lina’s children, took over the establishment and have continued to make the business grow.
Meet the Team
Julie Caporaso
Julie is one of the very few L’Oreal colour specialist in the country with over 25 years experience under her belt. She started he training along side her mother and continues the solid foundation of making sure the salon continues to thrive for over 45 years. Julie will be working with Trevor Sorbie and Nurse-led training to add a new service, which is close to her heart to support those who are suffering from medical hair loss.
Abbie
Abbie inspired to excel in creative and vibrant colours after completing level 2 and 3 and continuing to gather achievement’s at the L’Oreal academy in London as she excels in her vibrant creative work and balayage and is currently working towards her assessor award. Expect a relaxing service with Abbie so you can truly relax and escape.
Isobel
With over 11 years experience, Isobel is an amazing hairdresser who produces some beautiful work. Isobel has a calm, approachable way about her that instantly tells you that you can trust her with your hair. Her creative ability and passion for colour made her a firm favourite with our clients
